This amazing salve can be used topically for both humans and bunnies. We have this on hand at all times for cuts, scratches, insect bites or other skin ailments that may come up. For our rabbits, we love using it for minor injuries or accidental cuts when grooming and around the eye area to address eye infections.

INGREDIENTS: Comfrey, Rosehip, Holy Basil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Beeswax.

HERB BENEFITS TO HUMANS AND RABBITS:

Comfrey is used topically to treat wounds, inflammation, common skin ailments, and has even proven strong enough to expedite the healing of sprains, strains, osteoarthritis, and broken bones.

Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins A, C, E and essential fatty acids which help nourish the skin and calm inflammation.

Holy basil has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and analgesic (painkilling) properties. It treats skin infections and wounds and is especially beneficial to eye health, having a long history of use topically for pink eye and other eye infections.

Avocado Oil has antioxidant, emollient, and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps the skin maintain hydration and minimizes damage from free radicals. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it is recommended for eczema, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, or psoriasis.

Olive oil contains the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. It helps soothe and heal the skin while also assisting with wound healing.

Beeswax is a natural antioxidant and has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties. It's is also a rich source of Vitamin A and antioxidants which help protect skin cells and promote their regeneration.

All of the herbs used in our products are organically grown at our Breadbox Farm or sourced from farms using regenerative and organic growing processes. This blend has been formulated and handcrafted by our in-house herbalist in Chapel Hill, NC.
